Ei-Hi Quadcopter Full Review

If you are looking for your first quadcopter, you really can’t go wrong with the Ei-Hi S911C.

One of the best designed quadcopter options out there for those that don’t have a lot of flying experience already under their belt, this particular drone comes packed with all kinds of special features (which we will break down in just a moment) that make it perfect for learning on.

Believe it or not, flying a quadcopter is nowhere near as simple or as straightforward as it might appear. You’re going to need to be able to control four different propellers at one time, and you’ll also have to deal with the pitch and yaw that quadcopters fight every single second they are in the air.

This is why you’ll want to go with an easy to fly option like the Ei-Hi S911C, a quadcopter that has been designed and developed from the ground up to be as easy to fly as it gets for first timers without handicapping you with an underpowered drone once you get your wings underneath you.

Special Features

As far as special features go, one of the coolest things about the Ei-Hi S911C is that it offers up to 10 minutes of flight time thanks to the intelligently designed and ridiculously compact lithium-ion battery system.

Only taking about an hour or so to charge fully from a dead battery, you’re going to be able to quickly get your quadcopter up into the air and fly around for up to 10 minutes – give or take a few seconds – on a single charge. There are only a handful of quadcopters out there that are this compact and offer this long of a flight time, and it’s all thanks to that lithium-ion battery pack.

Of course, you’re going to need to know where you’re flying when you are up in the air with your EI-Hi S911C, which is why you’ll be pleased to leverage the built in high definition camera that provides a constant feedback to your command remote while airborne.
This gives you the opportunity to know exactly where you are coming actually wear your drone is headed, and exactly how to avoid midair collisions with anything and everything up there in the sky – but also give you a “bird’s eye view” of the world beneath you as well.

Pros

The major reason that the Ei-Hi S911C is so easy to pilot around without any experience whatsoever is because of the inclusion of a six axis gyroscope. This allows the quadcopter to stay in the air (and perfectly stable) through all kinds of turbulence and jerky controls, giving you the opportunity to learn how to fly it with “training wheels” on.

Another big advantage that you’ll enjoy when you decide to fly this particular quadcopter is the four channel radio functionality. You won’t have to worry about interference blocking out or jamming your control commands, which has (in the past) caused quadcopters to fall from the sky – destroying them in the process.

That’s just not going to happen to you.

Cons

Of course, it’s a bit of a difficult pill to swallow when you are asked to spend anywhere between $150 and $300 or so for a beginner’s quadcopter, but that’s exactly what the Ei-Hi S911C commands.

You may or may not be completely comfortable forking over mid-level quadcopter/drone money for a very much entry-level option, but if you’re serious about learning without potentially damaging or destroying a more expensive but not quite as user-friendly drone right off the bat, this isn’t going to be a problem.

Final Verdict

At the end of the day, it’s difficult to find a better quadcopter on the market for beginners than the very stable, very attractive, and very well designed Ei-Hi S911C.
